Orthogramic uses structured relationships to link elements across and within its business architecture domains. These relationships help reveal alignment, accountability, duplication, and strategic coherence across the enterprise. The two primary types of relationships used in Orthogramic are:
Cross domain relationships: Connections between different business architecture domains (e.g. Strategy to Capability, Capability to Value Stream). These represent structural and conceptual links defined by the Orthogramic Metamodel.
Inter-domain relationships: Connections between domain elements that span different organisational units (e.g. a Capability in one unit enabled by a Service in another). These highlight dependencies and collaboration across the organisational structure.
Understanding both types of relationships allows:
