Introduction

Effective version management ensures you have access to the most relevant and up-to-date information. This applies to both document management and Business Architecture domain representations. Orthogramic automatically tracks and manages different versions of documents and domain representations, providing clarity and control over the information lifecycle. Users can rely on Orthogramic to handle versioning automatically while retaining the flexibility to manually adjust and revert to previous versions as needed.

These sections, explore the mechanisms of version management for documents and Business Architecture domain representations in Orthogramic. We will outline how each document uploaded with variations is managed to ensure the most recent version is used, and how daily updates to domain representations are tracked and utilized.

Overview

In Orthogramic, managing multiple versions of documents with the same name is handled seamlessly to ensure that the most relevant and up-to-date information is always available. Each document uploaded to the system, even if it shares the same name with existing documents, is treated as a new version. This approach maintains a comprehensive version history, enabling users to track changes and access the most recent version as needed.

Version Management

Overview

Orthogramic also manages versions for Business Architecture domain representations to ensure that the most recent updates are always utilized. Any changes made to a domain representation create a new version for that day, and the system uses the final update made each day as the current version. This approach helps maintain the integrity and relevance of business architecture data.
