Introduction

Document summaries provides an overview of the business architecture domain data contained within each document uploaded to Orthogramic. This allows users to quickly assess the document’s relevance, structure, and key insights in relation to business architecture principles.

Each document is automatically analysed and classified based on its content, linking it to specific business architecture domains such as Strategy, Capabilities, Value Streams, Policy, Organization, Information, and Performance. Understanding document summaries

1. Domain summaries

Each document is assessed to identify business architecture domain data present within it. The domain summary provides an at-a-glance view of how the document contributes to business architecture analysis. This enables users to see which domains, elements, and sub-elements are represented and how they connect to broader strategic goals.

2. Check relevance

Users can evaluate the relevance, quality, and completeness of the document’s content in relation to business architecture domains. This assessment helps determine whether the document aligns with organizational objectives and can support strategic decision-making.

3. Integration with business architecture

Documents in Orthogramic are more than static files; they are systematically mapped to business architecture elements. This allows for:

  • Automated classification of document content into relevant domains.

  • Cross-referencing with other documents to ensure a holistic business architecture perspective.

  • Actionable insights to support recommendations, alignment analysis, and compliance tracking.

Practical use cases

  • Strategic alignment: Identify how documents contribute to defining and executing strategy.

  • Governance and compliance: Ensure policy and regulatory documents are properly categorised.

  • Capability mapping: Understand which capabilities a document addresses and how they interconnect.

  • Performance tracking: Link business performance data to strategic objectives and initiatives.

By integrating document summaries into Orthogramic’s structured business architecture model, organizations gain a clearer, more actionable view of their documentation landscape, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
